The back side of the tube has been laser cut to inset the tube towards the vehicle. All other tube designs for the JK sit farther out creating inset the tube towards the vehicle. All other tube designs for the JK sit farther out creating an unsightly awkward look. Each Tube bumper includes two fog lamp cut-outs as well as a welded filler plate for a great look. As with all Rugged Ridge Tube Bumpers, all the welds have been ground smooth and feature welded end caps. Non winch mount versions include dual light tabs. The Short Base attaches quickly to the frame with two enclosed D-Ring mounting brackets. This four bolt frame mount design provides the toughest bumper attachment found anywhere while creating two overbuilt pull points. This bumper mounts close in on the frame rails, drawing the bumper closer to the body and increasing the approach angle. The narrow overall width gives enormous clearance for the front tires.
